Use Quick Restore Maker to Create a System Restore Point in 1-click
The Windows Club has launched a very useful tool named as Quick Restore Maker. As the name suggests the main function of this utility is to create a system restore point by just clicking a button in Windows Vista and Windows 7.
System Restore helps you restore your computer’s system files to an earlier time. This features can sometime successfully rescues your system from a worst condition like Windows cannot boot due to an error or BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). So, it’s a good idea to have healthy system restore points. If you want to create a system restore point manually, you have to follow the following way:
Open Control Panel > Open the System Protection box > Open the System Restore utility to create a restore point. You can also do the same by first pressing [ Windows Key ] + [ R ] to open Run dialog. Type in rstrui.exe
to open System Restore Utility.
Quick Restore Maker does the same job in just a single click. Simply download the .zip file and extract it to the Program Files folder. Place a shortcut on your Desktop. Now run the utility to create System Restore points manually. The restore points generated by the utility is named as ‘QuickRestoreMaker Generated‘ point.
