Do you like to change your desktop wallpaper background often? Well, you can easily find a number of wallpaper-changing programs and plenty of get pictures from photo sharing sites like Flickr and Photobucket. But you will not find them as well-connected as Wally. And the other advantage of Wally is it is completely cross-platform. Wally is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux users alike.
Wally is built using Nokia’s Qt4 framework and supports many image sources including local and remote folders (via FTP), popular photo sharing sites like Flickr, Yahoo!, Photobucket, Picasa, Smugmug, Panoramio, Pikeo, Ipernity, Buzznet, and Bing.
You can use any combination of these sources as you choose by adding and removing them on the settings screen. You can easily customize Wally. Customization options are available from specifying the delay between image changes to tweaking the size of your local image history store.

The images downloaded from the web are based on the search terms that you specify. Wally is a free and open source software. Downloads are available for Windows, Mac, and Linux at the Wally project page and also mirrored at Sourceforge.
