How To Fix Windows Vista SP2 Stop 0×000000FE BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER Error

Windows Vista user who upgraded from Service Pack 1 (SP1) to Service Pack 2 (SP2) may face repetitive crashes with following error message:

Stop 0×000000FE (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4) BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER.

Users of Windows Server 2008 may also face the same issue when they upgrade to Windows Server 2008 SP2.

Microsoft has identified that usually this error occurs on computers that have Nvidia chipset. Additionally, this problem may also occur when you do very basic operations, such as plugging in a USB keyboard.
