Android 6.0 Marshmallow (Android M) adoption rate may be low now but soon that is going to change. Almost all device manufacturers have released the official list of devices that are soon going to get Android M update soon. So is your Android device going to get the update? Find out here.

According to GSM Arena, soon a range of Android devices from smartphone manufacturers like Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC, Motorola, Asus, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Huawei, Android One and others are going to receive the upgrade. Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware upgrade will bring improved user interface, performance and enhanced security. Starting the beginning of 2016, Android M update will be rolled out from these manufacturers.

List of Samsung Devices To Receive Android M Update

Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Tab S2 devices from 2015 will receive Android 6.0 upgrade first. Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S5, Alpha, A8 and A7 devices of 2014 will also receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware upgrade.

List of Sony Devices To Receive Android M Update

Sony Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia C4, Xperia M5 and Xperia M4 Aqua will receive Android 6.0 update first. Sony will also update Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3V, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet. Sony Xperia Z Ultra GPE is also poised to receive Android 6.0 update soon.

List of LG Devices To Receive Android M Update

LG will first release Android 6.0 upgrade for LG V10, G4, G Flex 2, G4 Stylo and will also be available for LG G3.

List of HTC Devices To Receive Android M Update

In the beginning of 2016 HTC One M9+, One E9+, One M9, One E9, One ME, Butterfly 2, and Desire 826 will receive Android 6.0 update. Next, HTC One M8, One E8, One M8 Eye, Desire 820 and Desire 816 will get upgraded to Android 6.0 soon.

List of Motorola Devices To Receive Android M Update

Moto X Pure Edition (2015), Moto X Style, Moto X Play and Moto G (2015) will first receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade. Motorola will also upgrade devices launched in 2014 like Moto X Pure Edition (2014), Droid Turbo, Moto Maxx and Moto Turbo.

List of Asus Devices To Receive Android M Update

Asus will update its wide range devices released in 2015, such as ZenFone 2, ZenFone 2 Laser, ZenFone 2 Deluxe, ZenFone Selfie and ZenFone Go. Asus will also release Android 6.0 upgrade soon for its Padfone S which was released in 2013.

List of OnePlus Devices To Receive Android M Update

OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X will receive Android 6.0 update first. OnePlus One will also receive the update.

List of Xiaomi Devices To Receive Android M Update

Xiaomi will release Android 6.0 update for Mi Note 2, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Mi 4i, Mi 4, Mi Note and Mi Note Pro.

List of Lenovo Devices To Receive Android M Update

Lenovo will first release the upgrade for devices like Lenovo K3 Note, A7000, A7000 Plus, Vibe S1 and Vibe P1. ZUK series like ZUK Z1 will get upgraded to Android 6.0 at the start of 2016.

List of Huawei Devices To Receive Android M Update

Huawei will bring Android 6.0 upgrade to Ascend P8, Ascend P8 Max, Ascend G8, Mate S, Honor 6 Plus, Honor 7, Honor 7i, MediaPad X2, Mate 7, Honor 6, Mate 7, Honor 4X, Honor 4C and Ascend G7.

Several Android One devices released last year will soon be upgraded to Android 6.0 including Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V, Spice Dream Uno, Symphony Roar A50, Cherry Mobile One, MyPhone Uno, Mito Impact A10 and Nexian Journey One.
