Google Voice Adds Multiple Text Recipients

Google made a small tweak to its Google Voice service this week. Google Voice users will now be able to send text messages to multiple recipients. Previously, if you wanted to send a message to multiple recipients, you had to copy and paste your message into a new form for each recipients, but now you can just enter the names or phone numbers separated by commas and send it all at once. However, to prevent spam, you can send a single message to a most of five numbers at a time.

“Replies from each recipient will be threaded into separate conversations, so you can keep track of them in your Google Voice inbox,” Google said in the official blog post.

The feature is also available via the Google Chrome extension and will soon be added to the mobile app, Google said.
