Audials Anywhere Light Beta Freeware Now Available For Download

Audials Anywhere transforms your computer into your own Personal Media Cloud. Earlier, we shared with you all some exclusive insight about the new technology RapidSolution Software AG, the developers of Audials are working on. As we were expecting, RapidSolutions Software AG has finally released the beta version of Audials Light for everyone to test. We downloaded the beta and installed it on our test machine. Here’s our quick take on the upcoming technology. Read on after the break to find out more.

Installation was smooth and easy but took a little time to complete. Just like the earlier versions of Audials, Audials Light allows you to listen to internet radio stations in just a click. You can sort everything by genre, country or even artist. Audials Light also lets you record up to 30 minutes of online video from any source including YouTube. You can enter a YouTube video link directly into Audials Light to let it download the video for you. You can also subscribe to podcasts and watch music-TV.

Coming to the Audials Anywhere feature, you can connect all your Windows computers and share your music library between them. To connect the Windows computers that you own, you need to first install Audials Light on both the computers. After completing installation, open the software and click on the Login button in the software and login to your free Audials user account in both the software. If you don’t have any account, you need to create your account first.

If you want to share your library with your family members or friends, you need to send them an invite first. For inviting, open Audials Light app. Switch to the music section of the media library. Now, click on the green Anywhere button in the upper toolbar. After determining the access privileges with the “share with a friend” button, type in the name of your friend. Follow the steps and your friend will receive an invitation link with a download link to Audials Light. They just now need to download and install the software on their computer. After launching the software, they need to click on the connect button on the invitation page.

Audials Light also allows you to share your music library with your Android device. For this to work, you need to first install Audials Sync software from Google Play Store on your device.
