Windows 7 RTM is Ready, will ship in two weeks

Microsoft announced that Windows 7 is ready and will be available to select users in two weeks.

Brandon LeBlanc, Windows Communication Manager for Microsoft, have mentioned the dates for Windows 7 RTM availability for the relevant parties at the Windows Team Blog. Windows 7, the much-anticipated operating system was completed on Wednesday.

Microsoft said in a press release that Windows 7 will be available for the general public on October 22nd, Independent software and hardware vendor partners would be able to download Windows 7 RTM copy on August 6th and Gold/Certified members of Microsoft Partner Program will get their copy on August 16th, Volume License Customers will get their copies from Volume License Service Center on August 7th.
