Mozilla has released the second beta version of its improved and redesigned Firefox 4 web browser. The new version can be downloaded from the release notes or official beta download page. It available for all supported operating systems (Linux, Mac, Windows) and now available in 24 languages. This second beta release also gives Apple Mac's the same tabs-on-top look as in Windows. The one orange main button is still isn't there in the Mac version, but the new toolbar formations are available now.

The most "talked about" new feature in Firefox 4 Beta 2 is "App Tabs", which looks like Google Chrome's "Pin Tab" feature. This "App Tabs" mode lets you keep an eye on sites you want to. Now, every tab in Firefox 4 has this new option "Make into App Tab," on right-click to convert it into an "App Tab".

Microsoft today released a new, limited beta for their increasingly popular security application, Microsoft Security Essentials, the next big version of the well acclaimed Windows security software. Microsoft Security Essentials was first released in September 2009 and is Microsoft's award-winning, no-cost, freeware, light weight security application. It's designed to give security to computers running genuine Windows editions.

Norman Security Suite 8 DnBNOR edition is a special edition of the latest version of Norman Security Suite, offered free by the company. This special edition does not need any license key to install and activate the program, and will protect your computer for 4 years, which is really long!

Norman Security Suite 8 DnBNOR Special Edition does have some limitations. I like portable applications very much, after all, why I will not? See, You can easily carry them with you in a USB flash device or a portable HDD, they don't bother you much with settings since, if you configure it once and take it to whichever machine you use, the settings remains persistent.
