AeroEnabler – Enable Aero Transparency in Windows 7/Vista Home Basic

Aero transparency is not available in Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows 7 Home Basic editions. Also, there is an internal hardware check done by Windows before enabling Aero. This is done to check if the hardware will be able to run Aero smoothly or not. But this doesn’t mean that you cannot enable Aero in Windows 7/Vista Home Basic. You can now easily enable Aero using AeroEnabler in Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows 7 Home Basic.

Using AeroEnabler activating Aero in Windows 7/Vista Home Basic edition is as simple as clicking a button. This tool can enable Aero and additionally disable the Hardware Check if required. You will need a minimum DirectX 9 acceleration, WDDM (Windows Display Driver Model) compatible driver, 128 MB of graphic memory, and Pixel Shader 2.0 with 32-bits per pixel support for Aero to work properly.

Note: AeroEnabler is developed for Windows Vista Home Basic and Windows 7 Home Basic editions only. Please do NOT use this tool in any other versions of Windows.
